Greys Court and Toad’s Riverside
‘Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.’
Said Ratty to Mole and enjoyed rowing his boat on the River Thames… Before finding out more about them, we start the day in hidden Thames Valley villages with a Poirot and Midsomer Murders feel. You can discover the rural Thames and learn about the river’s colourful and interesting heritage.
After visiting one of the most beautiful market towns on the River Thames, you can enjoy a delightful lunch in a river themed inn.
In the afternoon we visit Greys Court, a house described as a real English Home. You can step into the tranquillity of lady Brunner’s walled garden, a garden that changes with every season.
From here we travel down narrow countryside lanes and you can discover sleepy villages where it appears that time stood still. Take it all in and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in a 16th century inn.
