It was a beautiful, sunny spring day when we went out for lunch with my colleagues. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the sunshine. I must admit, I had to squint the sun was so strong. My retired colleague, a lady in her sixties with elegance and a sarcastic sense of humour turned to me as she was pulling out her sunglasses of her handbag:

Gizella, you have to learn that you always have to carry an umbrella, sunglasses, sun cream and preferably a hat in England.
